The Celtic boss declared he did not fear losing his job, asserting, “We are really close to things turning around,” even after moving dangerously close to being fired with a comprehensive setback against Rangers.

“I saw a lot of encouraging signs that we did, as was the case today. The issue now is sustaining it. My outlook would be different the same. That’s why I am convinced we will manage to turn things around.”

The Rangers Boss Outlook

Rangers manager was cautious about a title charge despite what seemed like a landmark win. “We take it game by game, then we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The confidence in the group is excellent.”
