Iran Reports Attack on US Base in Bahrain, During Regional Military Operations.
Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Manama, as Iran launched missile attacks across the region in retaliation for a significant and continuing assault targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an zone in the area of the main base of the American Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The extent of any damage is unclear and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.
Airspace Engagements
Elsewhere across the region, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - each hosting American military installations - reported they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their air space.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence announced it had successfully engaged several missiles apparently targeting the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the Middle East.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared it was targeting American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the offensive on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That US-Israeli operation - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck locations linked to the Iranian leadership, with US President Donald Trump urging the Iranian people to revolt against the government.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded across the country after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had detected an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the UAE said in a statement that the country has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses responded to the missiles with notable success and successfully intercepted a several projectiles," it added.
Officials reported missile fragments fell on a populated district in Abu Dhabi, causing some property damage and killing a civilian.
The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the UAE Air Force.
